This is stolen straight from the Apogee FAQ in the form it
was submitted to me. Apologies to all for this one, but
this explained it better than I would ever type.

Customer Cheat:
The backspace key will restore all your energy and give
you a death ray, at the cost of all your money. This
will only work in the registered version.
Debug mode:
Set the environment variable "S_HOST" to the value "CASTLE"
at the DOS prompt by typing "SET S_HOST=CASTLE" (it must be
in caps). Then, when you play Raptor, you become completely
invincible, and have all the weapons at your disposal.
Warp:
There is a level warp built into the game, so you can see any level
you want at any time. What you need to do is to get to the screen
where you see the level selection (Bravo Sector, etc...). The warp
combination is a 2 key entry. The keys are not to be pressed at the
same time. Note that you cannot use the level warp unless debug
mode (see above) is active.

Key 1: Z, X, or Y (Z is Episode 1, X is Episode 2, and Y is Episode 3)
Key 2: Any key between Q and O on the keyboard. Q is Level 1, and O is
Level 9.

This works in both the shareware and registered versions. Note that
if you try and warp to a registered episode from the shareware
version, it will crash the game.

Other notes:
With a hex editor, change bytes 27h and 28h of a Raptor saved
game file (char????.fil) to the value FF. When you load this
saved game, you'll have a few million dollars to spend on
equipment. If you don't have a hex editor, there are some
programs available that do this for you. RapCheat is one;
RapCash is another. Both should be available at ftp.uwp.edu
under the directory /pub/msdos/games/romulus/cheats. Some
people have reported problems using RapCash; I don't know if
these problems have been fixed since or not.
Birthday Mode:
As mentioned above, the "Birthday Mode" will automatically put you
into "Battle Cow" mode, and it will also play the goofy Apogee theme
song. To get it, change the system's date to the birthday of one of
the Cygnus programmers, given below. Any year should be ok, as long
as it's not in the past:

You can also get "Battle Cow" mode by darkening the switch
on the "choose sector" screen, and turning on all three
lights on the right (for v1.0, don't turn on the middle

Rebellion

Easy Fighter Killing:
This is for places like Coruscant where there are a lot of fighters.
Get a fleet really close to the enemy system. This fleet should have 2
Corellian Corvettes and 1 Escort Frigate (Nebulon B's if you have
them) but NO FIGHTERS.

Jump into the enemy system and unpause. When the enemy fighters start
moving, pause and jump into hyperspace. The fighters will have reached
you and exchanged shots. If you were quick enough they won't damage
you but their squad size will be reduced. Repeat as needed.

Red Alert

Egy patch (a nevét sajnos nem tudom) megbabrálja a
"game.dat"-ot, hogy ne onnan nézze a tulajdonságokat, hanem
a "rules.ini"-bol. Ezt át lehet írkálni olyasmi módon, mint
a Duke Nukem 3D-nél.

Más. Csak a szövetségesekkel működik: A játékindító animáció
alatt tartsd lenyomva a Ctrl+Alt+Del+O+R+E+Enter

Red Alert - Aftermath

If you want to modify the new units, open the Expand2.mix file with
wordpad and you'll find lots of parameters (prices, building time,
range etc. etc.) that you can change as you prefere.

Red Alert - Counterstrike

Here's how you get to the top-secret ant missions:
Go to the Counterstrike game menu, hold down the LEFT SHIFT key on
your keyboard, and then click on the speaker above and to the right of
the Options menu.

Scorched Earth

Have you ever wanted enough cash to be able to buy 99 of everything?

To get enough cash to do this, and much more, just go into DOS. Go to
the directory which Schorched Earth is in. Type - Edit scorch.cfg. You
should see a configuration file with lots of variables. Scroll down a
bit until you reach a line that reads: Initial_Cash=xxxxx (xx could be
any number). Delete this number and enter 100000000 (one hundred
million) in its place. Now save this file and run the game. You will
now have your $100 million.

NOTE: If you are careful, you can change any of the variables in the
config file. As usual, remember to back up your files.

Easy Way to Get the Stratos Car:
To get the Stratos Car the Easy way go to the Menu Screen then Press

transmission and the Delta to select the MT Transmission.

Hyper Car:
Hold Down X and Press Enter to choose your car at the car select. It
looks the same but it is easier to handle.

Lake Side Course:
To get the Lake Side course Finish the Championship overall in 1st
place. At least 9th on the Desert course, 4th on the Forest course,
and 1st on the Mountain course.

After that it will be in all things even in the Championship.

Mirror Mode:

1. Create a file in the game's directory named "cheater" (The file's
contents do not matter)
2. Go into the product and start a new game of Shanghai or Tournament
or whatever (do NOT try this in a game of Pandamonium or Dynasty,
as this will cause bugs to occur).
3. Press CTRL-Y in a game of Pandamonium or Dynasty, as this will

4. Press the spacebar to remove a pair. Do not use the mouse to point

The way the cheat works is that the game creates a guaranteed winnable
